Growing in Faith
Faith lives are not built in a vacuum. They are developed in conversation and fellowship with others in the community. While individual pray and devotions are important, these group opportunities offer new chances to see what God might be saying to us through the people in our lives.
Weekly Text Study
The Weekly Text Study is on hiatus for the summer. Check back for upcoming meeting times!
Shepherd of Life uses the Revised Common Lectionary, which means that we share our weekly readings with many other Christians across the world. Our readings are prescribed for us and are chosen because they speak to each other--essentially each reading is commentary for another.
Get a "sneak peek" at Sunday's readings and learn more about who wrote them, why they were written, and what God might be saying to us through them!
Theology on Tap
This has been on hiatus until we called a new pastor. Once a month, La Rebelde Winery in Lake Elsinore graciously lets us host our Theology on Tap nights!
These are not strict Bible Studies, though they are biblically informed. Instead, they are evenings dedicated to looking deeply at topics we don't discover elsewhere. So far we have learned about what "Theology" is, the life and theology of Martin Luther, and the major themes in the Gospel of Mark.
